Post Sales Process for Booking Deals
Opportunity
Mark the closing date whenever the payment is received and update the contract value so we get the correct details. Also update the Annual Contract Value (ACV), along with the date of closing (signing of contract or recieving a PO). These details will be useful in tracking and building reports.
Quotations
Create and send quotations from the system itself. If you really want to send it from GMail, keep the email address at the end of the document in CC:

Capturing Customer Details
When you create a quote, be sure to collect information such as:
- Company Name
- Billing Address
- Email + Phone
- Name of Person of Contact
- TAX ID - In case of internation customers
- GSTIN + TAN + PAN - for Indian Customers
Creating Sales Orders
Sales Team may create a Sales Order once the contract is signed or reception of payment acknowledgement. Note that on creating a Sales Order, a lead will be converted to a customer. Before creating a customer, you may check if the customer is existing already.
You can leave the Sales Order in draft state.
Handling Payment Acknowledgements
Payment acknowledgements when received should be forwarded to accounts@erpnext.com or prakash@erpnext.com with the Quotation/Sales Order details. Tag the sales team members in the Order.
The invoice will be created by accounts team from this order. You can tag the sales team members in the invoice once it is sent out.
Tracking Sales Team ACV
Based on Sales Order and Invoice, we can track ACVs of both SDRs and AEs in the Sales Person-wise Transaction Summary
