Grievance policy is in place for filing a formal complaint regarding a workplace, job, and/or coworker dispute or any other issue. This policy is implemented to help address employee concerns in a constructive and fair manner.
Disciplinary Procedure
To encourage employees to adhere to organizational policies and procedures:
- Any kind of misconduct, security breach, internal conflict, etc would be considered under disciplinary action.
- An employee can raise an official complaint through the employee grievance or email to complaints@erpnext.com
- Upon analysis of the raised conflict, the complaints committee determines that the employee has committed a disciplinary offence and the following disciplinary action may be taken:
Verbal Warning
- A verbal warning will be given by the complaints committee stating that any further misconduct will render the employee liable to further, more severe disciplinary action.
- The employee should be informed of the period that the warning will remain “live”, this is normally three months.
Written Warning
- The employee may receive a first written warning where either:
- Serious misconduct / Repetitive minor misconduct has been committed.
- Further minor misconduct has been committed by an employee following a recorded verbal warning that remains “live”.
The warning will:
- Set out the nature of the offence committed.
- Inform the employee that further misconduct is liable to result in further disciplinary action under this procedure.
- Specify the period for which the warning will remain "live", after such period. The first written warning will normally remain “live” for three months.
- A copy of the letter informing the employee of this sanction will be sent to the individual, and a copy will be retained on the personnel file for the duration of the warning.
- Further depending on the seriousness employees may be suspended for a month with 50% pay cut off.
- During the time off the employee shall reflect upon his/her actions and would not be accessing any work related information.
Dismissal
- Where the employee has committed further acts of misconduct or continues to follow the same breach post suspension the company has the right to terminate the employee from his/her services.
