Compensation

Things work differently and are unique at Frappe and so is our compensation process. We do not believe in the traditional culture of your peer or your senior deciding your pay rather you get to choose your own pay. Yes, you heard it right! The reason being, we believe you are a better judge of your performance than someone else.

Here how it works:

  • We have a payband system where there are 8 levels and each level has some skill associated with it along with a pay range
  • You write a SOP (statement of purpose) where you mention your achievements, failures, major learnings, future goals, etc
  • Based on your SOP, you can pick up a level provided you have displayed the skill for that level for 2 quarters
  • If you choose an ambitious pay, the stakes will be higher. You will have to set ambitious goals and deliver more
  • If you choose a moderate pay, doesn't mean you are less ambitious. It just means you are taking it easy and want to deliver proportionately

How do I pick a number?

  • You can talk to your mentor, any senior person, your family, your team mates, etc
  • You can check what is the industry average
  • Compare on payscale
