Performance

At Frappe we believe in having a high performing team and hence performance related issues are tracked regularly in a Performance Inspections doctype. As we have the right to choose the kind of work we would like to do, we expect people to be accountable for what they choose to do and take ownership of the same.

  • If an employee feels someone isn't performing as expected, they can always raise an concern on the doctype or reach out to an HR who will help take the process forward
  • Performance concerns would be looked at on a case to case basis, which means there will not be a fixed committee who will take care of all cases. We will have something like a “select committee”.
  • If a performance concern is raised for an individual from a particular team, then the select committee would consist of people whom that individual has worked with closely (eg his team mates, mentors etc)
  • This would give the person against whom the concern has been raised a fair chance of justifying their end and we would also eliminate any misjudgments as people who have no context would not be a part of the committee.
  • The committee would change case to case basis. It would include a maximum of 5 people, including an HR.
