Partner Exit

Partner exit happens in two cases:

  1. Non-renewal of contract
  2. Breach of contract terms (in which case, termination is initiated)

1. Non-renewal of contract

Contracts are currently recorded in Frappe.io in the following:

  1. Partner Agreement - effective 1st July 2023
  2. Contract - before 1st July 2023

The delisting of partners happens automatically via script as follows:

  1. Contract start and end date in the partner master gets synced on a daily basis from the Contract and the Partner Agreement doctype.

  2. Based on the date in the Partner master, on a daily basis, the partners are checked and they get "Disabled" if the dates are passed and not updated.

  3. On disabling the partner master, the following happens:

    • Partner user gets disabled
    • Partner members get disabled
    • Listing from the website is removed
    • partners.frappe.io access is revoked anyway since users of frappe.io are disabled and the access here happens via Login by Frappe.

2. Breach of contract terms (in which case, termination is initiated)

The termination clause is mentioned in the clause 8 of this agreement. The partner manager is expected to do the following:

  1. Let the partner know of the breach and the termination in writing via email.
  2. Disable the partner in the partner master only.

Note: On disabling the partner, partner privileges get disabled from Frappe Cloud.
