December Dispatch

As dramatic as it sounds, 2025 really did slip by. With so much happening under the hood, the team never had a single dull moment. As Rushabh put it, this year was a foundational one for Frappe. And as a bonus, we closed the year with fewer open questions than we started with.

2025 in review

Many small and big experiments made 2025 more intentional and transparent for everything we do. Catch the snippets in our Year-End Review.

Product Updates

You may have already seen previews of the new desktop coming in Frappe Framework v16. It acts as the homepage of the system and brings a structured layout with icons that make navigation easier. Most menus move to the sidebar, and the Awesome Bar lives there too. This should make ERPNext and HRMS feel far less overwhelming, especially for new users.

Many new updates went out this month across all our apps. Read more in our latest Product Updates blog.

New in the Marketplace

Two new apps were released on Frappe Cloud Marketplace in December to help you get more done:

  1. Bangladesh Compliance: VAT compliance made easy in ERPNext.

  2. Peppol Integration: Manage PEPPOL e-documents directly in ERPNext.

Partner Upgrade

Our partner network grew by a couple of new names this month.

Frappeverse Middle East 2025

Glimpse from Frappeverse Middle East

In our first-ever attempt at bringing Frappeverse to Egypt, it’s hard not to talk about the incredible community energy. Over 300 attendees from different industries came together, with a few giving talks on their journey of using Frappe. Across two days, teams met partners, explored local creativity, and lived very close to Cairo's rich culture. Easily the first of many more Frappeverses here!

Frappe Local - Jaipur 2025

Glimpse from Frappe Local Jaipur 2025

79 participants joined Jaipur’s first-ever Frappe Local, coming from across Rajasthan, Delhi, and Chennai. Attendees came with strong interest in ERPNext, Frappe Cloud, and new apps, and kept the energy high throughout. Sessions in Hindi made the talks relatable and easier to digest, while insights from our Jaipur-based partners offered practical ideas. Overall, a balanced event ending with lots of networking to tie it all together.

Public Webinars

New year, new webinars! We are lining up 5 fresh sessions for January including topics like Compliance and POS. With the v16 release around the corner, we’re also hosting a bonus 3-day series diving into what’s new in Framework, ERPNext, and HRMS.
