Frappe Flashback 2025 - A Year in Review

Welcome to the annual episode of "What made 2025 unforgettable for Frappe". We entered this year with big energy and even bigger goals. Every team, from engineering to sales and marketing, brought ambitious ideas to life that made this year a total hit. As we wrap up, we are super thrilled to rewind the best moments of the year with you.

A NEW HOME

On July 7, Frappe HQ moved into a new space. The office is spacious, with soft, warm lights all around and minimal design that includes all the essentials. True to our name, it feels very much like a coffeehouse, with a cozy collection of books and subtle desk planters all around.

THE DOCUMENTARY

Frappe’s philosophy of building everything Open by Default comes to life in a 36-minute short documentary told through the voices of its people. Created to capture years of fostering a democratic way of working, this visual essay shows how freedom and high standards coexist every day.

DEMOCRACY AT WORK

We hosted our first conference on Democracy at the Workplace. With around 40 founders and HR professionals, the event was centred on the principles and practices of a democratic workplace culture and how they impact the growth of the company, its individuals, and society at large.

THE PODCAST

Stories drive us. Our journey of building is often paired with stories from the community that inspire us to think differently. The Frappe Podcast was launched to create a home for these stories where we talk about work and the little things that hold us together along the way. 10 episodes out already!

V16 COMING SOON

After nearly two years, 2025 brought the much-anticipated version of Frappe Framework, ERPNext, and Frappe HR. The beta, released in November, gave a first look at the new features and improvements to making v16 the most stable major release yet. With a few final tweaks, the final release is coming on January 12, 2026.
