The Saga Begins

Welcome to the first of 12 editions of Making Magic Happen. 2026 has already set the bar high! After two long years in the making, Version 16 of ERPNext, Frappe Framework and Frappe HR was finally released on January 12. This is one of our biggest milestones yet and we couldn’t imagine a better start to the year.

Version 16 release

Commit in the House

The Commit Company is now part of Frappe

Big news from the ecosystem! On 1st January, The Commit Company moved into Frappe. Known for apps like Raven and Mint, they bring a strong product-first mindset and the intent to build intuitive, user-friendly apps for the open-source community. This step creates space for Frappe and Commit to work together and find newer possibilities to make Raven a first-class product in the Frappeverse. Exciting times ahead!

Product Updates

Imagine working on your presentation and suddenly losing internet connection. With the new offline editing in Frappe Slides, you can keep creating without any worry. Your changes are saved locally and automatically sync when you’re back online, so nothing gets lost. Whether you’re on a plane, at a café, or somewhere off the grid, your work stays safe and up to date.

Offline support is still in its early stage and we’ll be building on it to make it fully reliable.
