July Unwrapped
Frappe HR crossed its first 5,000 stars on GitHub. With every star, the community grows and so does our responsibility to shape Frappe HR into one of the best open-source HRMS tools out there.
In case you’ve not tried it yet, this is your sign to check it out.

Product Updates
We’ve rolled out a fresh set of updates across all the Frappe products this July.
Frappe CRM Dashboard
Frappe CRM: Customizable Dashboard with Forecasting + Visual Sales Insights - The new CRM dashboard brings everything onto one screen such as deal stages, win trends, conversion rates, and revenue forecasts. You can now drag and drop to personalize the view, track structured loss reasons, and forecast deals with precision using probability and close dates. It’s sharp, visual, and built for better decision-making.
Over in Frappe learning, instructors can now see how long students actually watch course videos. No more guessing who’s snoozing at 1.25x speed.
There’s more where that came from. Catch the full update in our latest blog post.

Frappe School
Language should never be a barrier to learning ERPNext. The ERPNext for Beginners (Arabic – عربي) led by Mohamed Manaa in July saw around 70+ learners joining from different regions.
Following the same spirit, we’re back with another language-based course in August:
Frappe Framework and Apps for Beginners, in Hindi (हिन्दी) by Hussain Nagaria | 25 - 29 August 2025
Limited seats available. Register before they’re gone.

Team Frappe had an amazing time meeting folks from Indonesia, along with others who flew in for Frappe Local Indonesia. We spent three days on the ground starting with the BWH workshop on Frappe Framework, where participants built a full app, from setting up a site to dashboards. The main event on day 2 drew a full house, with many already using ERPNext and looking to connect deeper. The final day was a casual partner meet-up at a coffee shop that turned into a meaningful conversation about partner quality, collaboration, and closing communication gaps.
Postcards from Frappe Local Indonesia
Team Frappe spent three days in the Philippines exploring the local ecosystem. It began with discussions on implementation models and the potential for open-sourcing tax localisations. Day two included conversations with early adopters and a small community meet-up focused on collaboration and localisation. The team also met a company already using Frappe and aligned with Frappe Cloud. The visit ended with partner discussions and a sense that while awareness is still growing, the interest and capability are already there.
Frappe's contribution to open source
Postcards from Frappe Philippines Meetup
Frappe has been running as a democratic company all the while, where decisions are made collectively, power is shared, and people choose their work and pay.
With Frappe hosting its first-ever Democracy at Work Conference, we want to open up this conversation. This space will allow us to share what we've learned, hear from others trying similar things, and maybe even find a few more people who believe work can be different. With 50+ decision-makers already set to attend, this event is shaping up to be a movement in the making.
If you're curious about what democracy at work looks like in practice, join us in Mumbai this August 23.
With just about a month to go for the 11th edition of Frappeverse India 2025, things are already in motion and coming together.
The event is shaping up with 30 talks across two tracks, handpicked from over 50 proposals. Eight sponsors have joined so far, each setting up booths at the Hall of Knowledge at the Nehru centre. Expect open debates at Frappe Fights, breakout sessions to explore many other Frappe products, and a classical instrumental performance to add a small break to tune into something soulful. Community voting for Frappe Awards is live on Discuss, with nominations open till August 5.
The full agenda for the event drops soon.
So, if you're a developer, explorer, or open-source contributor, don’t miss Frappe’s biggest flagship gathering of the season.
We’re hosting a lineup of six webinars this August covering topics like workforce management, manufacturing, Egypt compliance, Frappe CRM and Helpdesk, and even transitioning from SAP to ERPNext.
If you’re exploring ERPNext or just curious about how it fits into your business, these sessions are a great way to see it in action and get all your industry-specific questions answered.
