Grand plans are not always the root of successful businesses. Sometimes curiosity and necessity become the perfect ingredients. That’s what I took from my conversation with Govind Jangid. In an honest and reflective discussion, I learned about how a young man from Ajmer navigated family responsibilities, education, and an urge to learn, and slowly carved out his path. Today, Govind leads Eternal Enterprise Technologies, one of Frappe’s Bronze Partners.

Govind’s life has taken many unexpected turns. Even his journey towards programming and running an implementation business was far from usual. He studied mechanical engineering in college but was unable to complete it due to personal circumstances at home. Nevertheless, he persevered and began working as a lecturer. Long hours didn’t hold him back from his responsibilities, but Govind knew that this was not the end of his effort. After a couple of years as a lecturer, Govind switched jobs and industries multiple times. He had to learn tools such as AutoCAD, Solid Works, Ansys and kept upskilling himself whenever the job required.
This jumpstart in a non-tech career didn’t stop Govind from exploring his true passion. His financial decisions were taken out of necessity, but he protected his free time to do things that interested him. Eventually, this came to include coding. He learnt how to code by reverse engineering small lines of code from features that sparked his interest. He read books on Python and other programming languages and taught himself the necessary skills. It takes a lot of motivation and honesty to shift domains and learn new things. When I asked Govind about what kept him going, he mentioned that everything he tried was just a decision in the context of where he was headed. If something didn’t work out, it was not meant to be.
“I experimented with a lot of things. But I knew that I wanted to stick to coding because it felt like the perfect fit. When you try so much, the right things become obvious. I found my interest and a market need, I knew this was the way to go.”
Driven by this newfound interest, Govind sought a more technical role and began working at the Mahaveer Group in Ajmer. Here, he contributed across various departments including stores, purchase, production and planning. He learnt every role, from execution to management. Motivated purely by a desire to learn, he began with database management. After building over 200 apps on AppSheet, experimenting with UI and workflows, Govind eventually led the ERP journey for the company. He successfully implemented ERPNext after evaluating multiple open-source solutions.
In the following months, Govind became more and more involved with Frappe’s community and explored ERPNext to its full potential. He left his job and began consulting independently. Govind would reach out to existing partners in the ecosystem and freelance for them. At one point, it became obvious that he wanted to build something of his own. So in 2021, Govind founded Eternal Enterprise Technologies.
“I named the company Eternal owing to the hospital name where my father had his bypass. At that moment, the name meant more than just a sign.”
Soon after, Eternal became a Bronze Partner. Govind attributes this to his growing team. He intentionally sought out people similar to himself for his team. Today, the motivated team of 13 operates from 2 cities, implementing projects across the nation. They share a collective belief in first doing, then telling. Eternal Tech’s whole foundation is built on good intentions in many contexts. Whether it’s providing good value to clients, doing honest work, or even maintaining relations with the community around them.
“It might seem unusual, but we never ask for money up front. Commercials aren’t a breaking point for us. We offer a 'pay after implementation' & ‘pay as per your budget model’ and let the success of the project speak for us.”

Almost all of Eternal Tech’s customers are referral-based. Currently, they do no marketing or outbound sales and still sustain a packed business. Their speciality, as Govind mentions, is a drive to proactively solve their clients’ pain points. Having been a part of such a large variety of roles, Govind has become somewhat of an artist when it comes to solving issues within traditional Indian businesses. Although this quick growth didn’t come without challenges. Projects did get delayed, dependencies existed, but the team took this in hand with their work.
"The way we approach issues will say a lot about the way we do anything, even more than strategy. I want the team to never forget the commitment to our values and client satisfaction.”
Some of the best stories I get to hear from partners are about the ERPNext community in the early days. Govind reminded me that it’s only gotten better from there. When other partners in the region don’t have bandwidth for a project, Eternal Tech is first in line to offer help. And it goes both ways. The community has also instilled in him a strong belief in open source. Govind’s connection with Frappe isn’t transactional and has never been. He attends community events, trainings and knows that the best way to be in a community is to uplift.

As we talked about the road ahead, Govind returned to the same thread that had run through everything. Doing good work and doing it for the long haul. Eternal Technologies wants to scale to an even bigger team and be able to implement ERPNext for SMBs in Tier-2 & Tier-3 cities in India, where digital transformation is upcoming but needed. Moreover, Govind wants to focus on improving Eternal Tech both technically and in terms of domain knowledge.
“It’s important to know the customer’s business functionally. A successful implementation isn’t just about code, it is also about communicating the value of the product. In the future, we want to grow to be able to handle business implementations of any size while staying lean and true to our values.”
As usual, we ended with our three quick questions:
What makes Frappe products worth it?
Frappe products, especially ERPNext, stand out because they’re built on the principles of freedom, transparency, and scalability. As an open-source platform, Frappe empowers organizations to truly own their software. No vendor lock-in, no compromises. ERPNext is modular, developer-friendly, and highly customizable, which makes it suitable for startups as well as enterprises. The low-code framework enables rapid deployment, and its clean UI and active community make it a future-ready product. Most importantly, it's a product built with empathy, by people who genuinely want businesses to thrive.
Why should customers choose Eternal Enterprise Technologies?
At Eternal Enterprise Technologies, we do more than implement ERP, we revive, transform, and future-proof businesses. Many clients come to us after facing failures elsewhere, and we take pride in converting those into success stories. Our approach is hands-on, flexible, and deeply aligned with customer goals. We bring a rare blend of technical excellence and domain knowledge, be it manufacturing, mining, services, or trading. What truly differentiates us is our intent: we care more about delivering value than billing hours. That’s why we’re comfortable offering “pay after implementation” or “pay as per your budget” models. We’re not just service providers; we are partners in transformation.
What's one lesson you’d want to share with the world?
Focus on delivering value, not chasing revenue. When you stay honest, patient, and dedicated to solving real problems, success follows naturally. That’s been our mantra since day one.
What began as one person learning code line by line has now grown into a business with a larger vision. My conversation with Govind wasn’t about bold claims or massive capital. It was about navigating opportunities with character.
