It's my favourite HR software. I liked the simple UI, flexibility and extendability of the product. As business continuity is important for me, and they have the solution for that too, they provide the source code.

I have been using this for several months for an organization with 50+ employees with automated attendance based on fingerprint reader based employee checkins. It's been awesome so far.

We have been using the HR module for some years now and the growth with which it has matured is impressive. The UI and UX are very usable and human-friendly. Many things are provided out of the box with a customization option and being open source makes it even more easier to use.

So far the admin interface is very quick to grasp all that's going on, when a ticket is open, closed or resolved. The comments and response feature in the interface is just awesome and makes it quick to reply to the tickets. Overall it's an awesome product to work with.

Code and Consultancy: My Journey as a software developer and certified ERPNext Functional Consultant

As a passionate software developer, my journey has been an exciting exploration of various programming languages and technologies. One pivotal point in my career was the transition from a pure coder to a techno-functional expert in Frappe and ERPNext.

We recently migrated the last customer of ours who was not on Frappe Cloud from Digital Ocean. The customer had self-hosted on Digital Ocean, and they have been using ERPNext since version 11. Their server on Digital Ocean had issues, and after they spent some time trying to revive it, they finally opted to migrate to Frappe Cloud.

The migration and upgrade took less than a day on Frappe Cloud, and this included migrating a custom app. Trying this on a non Frappe Cloud hosting, would likely have taken days.

Some customers will ask about hosting e.g., on Digital Ocean instead of Frappe Cloud, because it appears cheaper. Happens rarely, but if it does, we say, we will have to adjust the post go live support fees upwards, because we know the effort it takes to manage non Frappe Cloud hosting sites.

As a business strategy, hosting on Frappe Cloud is an open secret, especially for anyone who started off on ERPNext pre-Frappe Cloud days.

I'd also confirm that FC has brought a lot of productivity gain and reduced deployment errors in setting up and upgrading customer environments. Issues have been few and have reduced over time. Critical issues have been addressed promptly. Frappe Cloud is indeed the best option for ERPNext and other Frappe Framework-based deployments.

FC makes life easier, for devs, partners, and clients. SOPs are correctly followed. Takes away all the worries about infrastructure.

Great support and SLA is applied correctly on most tickets. Talented team to tackle issues and constant upgrades and addition to FC makes it all the more desirable place to host your Frappe apps. Updates are a breeze with FC.

There is no doubt that the Frappe Cloud team has done a wonderful job of bringing ERPNext to the users with least friction.

We are open to say that we couldn't have grown without FC being made available. It's so good that there should be a story written about the origins of FC.

Our 99% of customers are on FC cloud. We never recommend on-premise. Even if they ask - we tell them to start implementation with cloud base plan and then move up gradually and then later if they feel they should move on premise - they can. Fortunately once on cloud- they become some comfortable that they do not want to move out...we rarely get any issues.

In our experience, FrappeCloud has been incredibly beneficial for us. The deployment challenges, when they arise, are typically related to the development process, and the FrappeCloud team has been excellent at promptly identifying and resolving these issues. This support has been crucial for us, and we appreciate their timely assistance.

One of the key advantages we've found with FrappeCloud is how it simplifies our DevOps tasks. With FrappeCloud, most of our DevOps team's work is now focused on non-Frappe-related tasks. They can handle site management, updates, and configurations with just a few clicks, making the entire process smooth and efficient. This has not only saved us time but has also allowed us to allocate our resources more effectively.

Most of our customers workload is very demanding and yet we find the platform handling all the load we through at it.

It also simplified our ops life significantly and empower our active consultants.

Worth mentioning for the whole time period on FC any outages was resolved on time and was usually related to server resources and team responded in an informative pro active manner.
