Fine-tuned February

The shortest month of the year had the most to make happen at Frappe. This February, our engineering team chose to halt all new feature development. In pursuit of excellence, which is Frappe’s core value, we’ve come to accept that it cannot be built on top of negligence. So the teams came together and took ‘Raise the Bar’ as a challenge to tackle and fix underlying annoyances in the code, workflows, while hunting down for any hidden cracks in our system. After almost a month of this sprint, we’re getting back on track to ship newer features and improvements on a more solid foundation.

Product Updates

One of the visible wins from February’s sprint is the Frappe Framework fixes. Teams cleaned up long-standing issues in navigation, validations, PDF generation, and backend logic. Developers will benefit from cleaner workflows, improved error handling, and a more reliable system behavior.

What’s up in the Cloud

Frappe Cloud just got better. Two new providers, Hetzner and DigitalOcean, have been added, and a unified server deployment option now cuts hosting costs signficantly. With more options to choose from, you can now pick a plan that fits your needs. Check out the video to know more.
