First time in Africa Three years ago, if someone had told me that Africa would become one of the most exciting parts of my professional journey, I would have hesitated. Not because I didn’t believe in the product. But because I didn’t know the continent.

I had never been to Africa. I had never closely interacted with businesses there. I didn’t fully understand the market dynamics, the cultural nuances, or how open-source products would be perceived. Stepping into a new challenge always brings uncertainty in the beginning and I wasn’t sure what to expect. But what I didn’t realize then was that I was about to witness one of of the powerful community movements in the Frappe ecosystem.

Looking Back: Frappeverse Africa 2025

Last year marked a major milestone, the first-ever Frappeverse Africa, and our first conference of this scale outside India. With 160+ attendees and 8 sponsors, it was a strong beginning for the ecosystem in the region.

More importantly, it proved that Africa was not just using the product, the community was building on it, contributing to it, and scaling businesses with it. Partners were deeply invested, customers were ambitious, and the overall energy was truly inspiring.

It wasn’t just an event. It was a clear sign that the ecosystem is now ready to take ownership. In case you missed out on our last conference, you can check out the highlights here

Frappeverse Africa 2025

This Year: It’s no longer just an event. It’s a movement.

What began as an initiative to bring the community together has now evolved into something much bigger. Frappeverse Africa 2026 is not being driven by Frappe, it is being driven by the community itself.

Seeing partners step up, take ownership, collaborate across countries and lead from the front has been my biggest “aha moment.” The ecosystem is no longer growing because we are pushing it, it is growing because the community believes in it.

I’m incredibly proud to see how the community in Africa has shaped up and to see partners like Navari, Aakvatech, and many other partners and community members stepping up and taking the lead in shaping the conference and strengthening the ecosystem. This is exactly what Frappeverse was meant to become, an universe around the product, not a Frappe controlled event.

What to Expect at Frappeverse Africa 2026

At Frappeverse Africa 2026, you’ll see the ecosystem come alive once again and this time, the community truly takes center stage.

Navari and Aakvatech team will showcase the growth of ecosystem and localizations across Africa. Chipo Hameja and Arnold Muwanguzi from Frappe Club will speak about building capacity and strengthening skills around the product across the continent. Kelvin Njenga from the Kenya Red Cross Society will share how they have enhanced the Non-Profit module and are using ERPNext internally to drive impact. Akinkunmi Nasiru from Akhilam Inc will explore how AI is being used to improve efficiency within Frappe and ERPNext.

And that’s just the beginning. The conversations will go far beyond this.

What makes this truly powerful is that the community is no longer just participating but it is leading, building, and creating impact. Adding to the experience, we’ll also have a vibrant African cultural performance by the Sarakasi Dancers, showcasing diverse dance forms from across the continent. You can check them out here

I must say this is a really amazing post, and for some of my friends who provide Best British Assignment Help, I must recommend this post to them.
