Before implementing ERPNext, Swarnam’s operations were distributed across multiple disconnected systems:

Fragmented Technology Landscape: SAP was used for billing and some operational tasks. Tally was used for accounting. A separate mobile app was used for sales management. Another system handled HR and payroll. This led to duplicate data entry, inconsistencies, and heavy dependency on spreadsheets.
Limited Access & High Licensing Costs SAP’s user licensing restrictions allowed only a limited number of users to log in simultaneously, delaying daily transactions and restricting process transparency.
Difficulty in Consolidated Reporting Because of multiple systems, generating a single source of truth for sales, inventory, credit exposure, and scheme-based operations was a challenge.
