Stock Module: Stock management is simpler with automatic reordering, Stock Entry for adjustments, and Stock Reconciliation to match system and physical stock. Serial number tracking is easier via the Serial Number Ledger Report. Live stock across companies and warehouses is visible directly on the Stock Balance Report — no more chasing separate teams for stock position.
Buying Module: Purchasing, once manual, now flows from Material Request to Purchase Order to Purchase Receipt — trackable end to end, with the Procurement Tracker giving full visibility.
Finance Module: Moving from Tally to ERPNext connected finance with sales, purchasing and inventory. Purchase Invoices link to POs and Receipts for easy bill-matching, with the same flow on the sales side. Payment Entry enforces approvals, and the Mint app has simplified reconciling multiple bank accounts.
Compliance: E-invoicing, e-way bills, GSTR-1 filing and auto purchase reconciliation all run inside ERPNext. Custom Number Cards flag pending or failed items like missing shipping bills and e-way bills, while a GST Snapshot workspace compares month-on-month data by GST treatment. All key financials — receivables, payables, Balance Sheet, P&L, GST reports — are visible to management on demand.
Workspace & Dashboard: User-wise workspaces keep each person's tasks organised in one place. A Management Dashboard and Key Metrics workspace bring Number Cards, shortcuts, charts and reports together for quick oversight. 7.
