Before the move to ERPNext, which was realized in cooperation with Bavaria's K&K Software AG, the Gemeindewerke Adelsdorf did not have central system to manage their daily tasks. Data and files were scattered on several computers, and mails and tickets were not systematically organized. The main challenge was to set up a centralized system, which meant to identify and trim down processes. Furthermore, the different forms of data had to be saved and organized in one larger system in compliance with the GDPR.
