Your experience is important to us! Here are some basic guidelines that will ensure a comfortable, safe and seamless conference experience.
Code of conduct
At our conference, we uphold a respectful code of conduct that applies to all participants, including attendees, sponsors, and our team. We kindly request everyone to adhere to the following guidelines:
Show consideration and respect:
Please treat all community members with consideration and respect. Embrace diversity, listen to different perspectives, and engage in constructive dialogue.
Avoid demeaning or harassing behavior:
Refrain from engaging in any form of demeaning, discriminatory, or harassing behavior, including the use of offensive language, materials, or speech. Foster an inclusive and welcoming environment for all.
Report misconduct:
If you witness any misconduct during the conference, we encourage you to speak up and notify a member of the organizing team. Your prompt action helps us maintain a safe and respectful space for everyone.
Sustainable practices
At our conference, we are dedicated to reducing plastic waste and promoting sustainability. Here's how you can contribute:
Avoid using plastic bottles:
Water refill points will be conveniently located at the venue. Kindly use these water stations to stay hydrated.
Sponsorship materials:
We request our sponsors to prioritize environmentally friendly alternatives when it comes to booth materials. Please refrain from using plastic-based materials such as backdrop posters. Opt for sustainable options that align with our commitment to minimizing waste.
By collectively adopting these practices, we can make a positive impact on the environment and foster a more sustainable conference experience.
Conference ticket
To ensure a smooth and enjoyable conference experience, please take note of the following guidelines:
Confirmation email:
Upon registering for the conference, you will receive a confirmation email within a few minutes. This email will contain important details about the conference, including your registration confirmation.
Conference pass inclusions:
Each conference pass includes access to the auditorium where the talks will be conducted and can enjoy morning tea, lunch, evening tea and dinner on the day of the conference
Tentative schedule:
The conference's tentative schedule will be posted by January 3, 2025. Please refer to the schedule for session timings and plan your attendance accordingly.
Cancellation policy:
If you wish to cancel your paid conference pass, a full refund will be available until January 3, 2025. Please note that after this date, no refunds will be provided for cancellations.
Talks and presentation
If you are speaking at the conference, please take note of the following guidelines:
Relevant topic:
Your presentation must be focused on Frappe products or open-source topics.
Prohibited content:
a. Unparliamentary language
b. Discussion or portrayal of violence
c. Obscenity
d. Religions, political, or communal agendas
e. Promotions for third-party products or services
Topic submission:
Please share your topic and an outline of your suggested talk with Frappe here, by December 15, 2024.
Mock presentation:
A practice session will be scheduled between December 15 - 30, allowing you to rehearse and deliver your talk.
Talk selection:
Frappe reviews all talk and presentation through mocks to ensure the best quality content for the conference. Selected speakers will be invited to present on the main days of the event.
Confirmation required:
If you do not receive confirmation from the Frappe team by December 15, your talk will not be permitted during the conference.
Communication:
All important information, including presentation order, date, and time, will be communicated via email.
Arrival time:
Please be present at the presentation venue at least 2 hour prior to your scheduled talk to allow sufficient time for setup. If you wish to use your own laptop for presenting, kindly check your laptop connectivity with the main screen at the beginning of the day.
Time allocation:
Each speaker will have 20 minutes for their presentation, including a 5-minute Q&A session at the end.
