A December to Remember
As 2024 came to a close, we felt the festive cheer here at Frappe! Our Christmas celebrations included team lunches, cozy painting sessions, hot chocolates, and lots of smiles. A perfect way to wrap up the year! But before we sign off, let’s take a look at some of the updates from December that’ll keep you on your toes as we jump into the new year.

ERPNext docs
ERPNext just got a whole lot better with features for smoother subcontracting workflows, faster inventory management, and simplified global accounting. Frappe Cloud introduced enhanced database permission management for greater control. Meanwhile, Learning, Insights, Helpdesk, CRM, Gameplan and Gantt all bring cool updates to streamline your workflows, and enhance user experiences. Whether it's generating certificates with a click, visualizing data using heatmaps, or enjoying CRM in dark mode, there's something for everyone!

This month, we built our own link shortening and management app live with Frappe Framework and Frappe UI. We used Frappe UI’s pre-built components to create a simple portal where you can manage links effortlessly.
Partner Growth
Frappe thrives when we grow together with our partners. This month, we held an online sales bootcamp that covered everything from sales strategy to ERPNext demos. We kicked off our first-ever Frappe Local in Riyadh, KSA, where we brought together community members from across the region. The event showcased some incredible success stories, and it was heartening to see the local FOSS community influencing the government to get ERPNext certified as a tool for modernizing businesses in Saudi Arabia. A big thank you to all those who came out and shared their journey!
