Story of Gameplan

"When we were a small team of 20, keeping track of things was not a problem. A chat tool like Telegram was enough for general chit-chat and most people came to office at least once a week. As the team size grew, things started falling through the cracks. After COVID, more and more people started staying at home and didn’t visit office much. There was a need for long form discussions platform. We started using Discourse as our internal forum and called it Gameplan. It worked very well for us.

Then the wave of multiple products started in Frappe. Discourse was a great product but it was built for community forums and lacked the design language that we wanted. It just made sense to make our own discussions platform. Thus Gameplan was born. It is now an integral part of how we work at Frappe."
