How do you unify Subscription Management, customer support, kitchen operations, internal chat, and accounting while adding AI voice agents and Messenger(FB+Insta) integration—into one seamless, open-source system?
In this talk, we’ll walk through how we did exactly that. We led the migration of Qatar’s largest diet-based subscription company from a fragmented SaaS stack (FreshChat, Odoo, WhatsApp, Custom Apps) to a fully integrated Frappe ecosystem.
The transformation included embedding a voice-based AI agent capable of handling customer calls and syncing CRM actions, as well as direct integration with Instagram, Facebook Messenger, WhatsApp, and in-app chat—making the CRM truly omnichannel.
Beyond CRM, we moved production planning and inventory from a custom legacy tool to URY, shifted all sales, purchase, and accounting to ERPNext, and replaced scattered WhatsApp group chats with Raven for structured internal collaboration. Frappe HRMS was also deployed for team management and coordination.
The talk highlights key technical and functional enhancements, such as the Messenger connector, AI voice agent workflow, and CRM automation tuned for high-volume subscription operations.
We’ll share implementation insights, outcomes, and lessons learned—including how this shift reduced cost, improved visibility, and positioned the company to scale further on open-source foundations.
Attendees will gain a real-world blueprint to break out of SaaS silos and build powerful, cohesive systems using the Frappe Framework - pushing the limits of what’s possible with open source.
