You can create flexible fee structures for different academic years and courses, and define fee discounts. These fee structures can be bulk-assigned to student groups. You can also configure fee schedules like monthly, quarterly, term-wise and yearly. Fee payments are simplified for students by the out-of-the-box Razorpay integration on their portal. To better manage your courses, you can assign them to student batches, handle the course schedule by defining day, time, dates, and academic terms. You can also reschedule courses if needed. Furthermore, attendance management is simplified using the attendance tool within the same system, making class management effortless. Exams can be nightmares for students, but they don't have to be for you. Easily plan assessments and grade students within Frappe Education. As instructors, you can plan exam schedules by date, time, and venue for various academic years, programs, and courses. After conducting exams, you can easily grade students based on their performance.
Configure various grading criteria according to your institute's needs and define marks for each grade, which will be automatically awarded to students based on their scores. Once released, students can view and access these results on their portal. Furthermore, after exams, you can promote students to the next class or semester, streamlining this entire process.

Intuitive student portal
It is crucial for academic institutions to provide students with a clear, transparent view of their courses, fees, and other activities. Frappe Education offers a well-designed student portal for this purpose. Students can log into this portal to view their enrolled courses, course timetables, and class schedules. Previous and current course grades are also readily accessible.
Using the same portal, students can apply for leaves, view their attendance status across dates, and make fee payments via Razorpay. They can also download invoices once payments are made. Thus, the student portal acts as a centralised gateway for students to access and manage their academic journey.

Story of Frappe Education
"Initially launched in 2016, Frappe Education struggled to gain traction in the market. This led to the project being abandoned. In 2023, as a developer with prior experience in EdTech, I joined Frappe and took the opportunity to revive Frappe Education. Many schools were using separate applications for portals, invoicing, and ERP, resulting in inefficiencies. Frappe Education offered a solution by integrating all these functionalities into a single platform.
After engaging with the community, we identified major challenges, including invoicing, accounting, and lack of student access to academic records. To address these issues, we created the student portal, enabling students to access their academic information, and implemented improved accounting ledger management. Since taking ownership, I have consistently added highly requested features, increasing market attraction for Frappe Education. Our vision is to transform it into a world-class school ERP."
