We at Arus, working in Frappe Framework for the last 8 to 10 months are excited to launch our first open source app based on Project Module of ERPNext. The PWA mobile app is named as "ProjectIT" and it is having tools to track the time spent by the employees in the field. The Photo Check-in and Check-out feature records the time spent on the Project's activities and transfer this data in the form of Timesheet and Attendance entries in ERPNext. This mobile app also allows the Project Managers to allocate the staff to the relevant projects and send working instructions.
Under the leadership of Mr. Gnani who is operating from Melbourne, Australia, we have implemented the Customized Project costing functionality on top of ERPNext for a customer in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu. Now we are in the process of packaging those functionalities which we have implemented for the customer as an Open Source Project and release it in the Github Public Repo. We are expecting this packaged app will be ready to be fully functional by Mar 15th well ahead of the Frappe Build Session. As we are having all the functionality from the working app - we are expecting that the first cut of the app will be ready by 10th Mar and it will be available for Public.
We like to extend our gratitude to the community by releasing the PWA mobile app which is connected to the Timesheet functionalities of the Project Module. We want to be part of the Open Source movement which Frappe has made an amazing move on making ERPNext and other apps as completely Open Source. We request to accept our talk proposal, so that we can show the demo of the Open Source app which we are releasing in the Public Repo.
