My journey with Frappe began in a fun and unexpected way when we (me and Faris) participated and won the very first Mumbai Hackathon organised by Frappe.

I joined Frappe in February 2018 after briefly working as a Web Developer at a startup called SixMod5. At Frappe, I’ve gone from fixing small bugs and contributing minor features to maintaining the Frappe Framework. Over time, I’ve taken on various roles like contributor, maintainer, team captain, and occasionally, the “firefighter” during tricky releases. One of the most critical and responsible projects I worked on was the v13 rebrand, where I collaborated with two amazing devs of my team to deliver one of the most ambitious updates to the Framework.

Currently, my main focus is Frappe Builder 🎨, a product I’ve been building from the ground up since 2022. It’s been quite rewarding to see websites created with Builder live in production... simple, reliable, and visually elegant. With that, I also sometimes review PRs and mentor developers when needed.

Other than work, in terms of interests (not expertise), I enjoy working on something creative like building things (not limited to softwares), photography and editing, solving puzzles, sketching, and exploring other artsy activities.
