Hey there! I’m Shllok Osan, a final-year B.E. IT student from DBIT, Mumbai, born and brought up in the city itself. I enjoy working at the intersection of software development and real-world business problems.

My journey into the Frappe ecosystem began during my winter internship at a mid-sized distribution firm. When I joined, the firm was struggling with scattered data across tools like Odoo and Zoho Books and needed a more centralized solution. I was tasked with exploring alternatives, which led me to ERPNext. After researching different ERP systems—both paid and open source—I dove into the ERPNext docs, set it up locally, and tested it with dummy data from teams like accounting and sales. Within a week, it was clear that ERPNext was the right fit. The fun part was watching a rough setup turn into something the teams could actually use day to day.

Outside of development, I spend time exploring the stock markets, digging into company financials and key ratios. I also watch F1, race on simulator setups, and play football.
