I joined Frappe in 2023, starting out with contributions to ERPNext. After a brief stint on a Framework project, I decided to explore something completely new to me — frontend development — and started building Frappe Slides. Most of my work has been fuelled by me wanting to explore things I hadn’t tried before.

I’ve grown to realise that I tend to cycle through periods of hyper-fixating on hobbies before moving on to new ones and forgetting the existence of the previous. What pulls me in is good storytelling. And good storytelling is everywhere. It put me on a ride to the Caverns of Anime and Manga. Then asked me to take the first right towards the Gates of FPS games (aka Valorant hell). It nudged me to cross the bridges of Imagination by reading books before navigating me to a big ocean. A big ocean of writing — writing about abstract ideas, poems and stories.

Through writing, I discovered that I am fascinated by the idea of creation. So I’m on a journey to tip the balance towards creation more than consumption — whether that’s improving user journeys in a product, polishing it’s UI or sharing my writings. But a one-liner no-nonsense description would be that I’m a 20-something year old trying to figure out this "adulting" thing while feeling like shinchan in office. Needless to say the humour is evolving. Just backwards.
