January flew by, and so did a wave of updates across our products, partner network, and training programs. Let’s dive into what’s been happening at Frappe this month.
ERPNext training in Surat
Product Updates at a Glance
The team has been refining, improving, and rolling out updates across the board. Here’s what’s new:
ERPNext now includes country-specific Chart of Accounts for Switzerland and 17 African nations, more configurable payment reconciliation, and better stock reservation for work orders.
Frappe HR added smarter salary calculations, accurate advance claims, and a fix to prevent users from approving their own leaves, no more sneaky self-approvals!
Frappe Cloud introduced a Database Analyzer to help developers spot slow queries, optimize indexes, and keep databases running smoothly.
Frappe Learning made assignments easier to manage, added student progress heatmaps, and introduced batch feedback for instructors.
Frappe Helpdesk got a revamped Knowledge Base for both agents and customers, improved ticket comments with file attachments, and editable comments for clarity.
Frappe CRM now supports Exotel integration for seamless calls in India, manual call logging, and better note-taking and task management after calls.
Frappe Builder focused on stability, introduced a “Revert Changes” option, and ensured no accidental refresh wipes out code changes.
Gameplan improved thread visibility, making it easier to keep track of discussions without endless scrolling.
Gantt is now a mature library with version 1 officially out!

This month’s Manufacturing Week was all about real-world manufacturing workflows and live problem-solving.
Dharmesh Chitroda joined Hussain to throw customization requests from use cases, and Hussain built them live! These episodes are packed with insights for manufacturers using ERPs and developers looking to sharpen their skills.

Frappe School
We kicked off the year with a three-day in-person ERPNext training in Surat, hosted in collaboration with Hard ‘n Soft Consultancy. With over 20 paid registrations, participants got hands-on with ERPNext and gained practical insights.
