What Users Have To Say
Asif Mulani
At Frappe, we've been using ERPNext for our internal data management since day 1. While we had all the necessary data in one place, we struggled to quickly extract insights from multiple data sources for strategic decision-making.
Last year, Saqib Ansari developed Frappe Insights, a tool that has been a game-changer for me and all of us at Frappe. With just a few clicks, I'm able to write queries and generate charts and reports. It's been an invaluable addition to our business and operational workflow.
The Story of Frappe CRM
I was presented with opportunities to work on a new product a couple of times but I hesitated because of the framework. You see, we're constantly developing new products at Frappe, and I've always wanted to create something of my own. So I stopped resisting and grabbed this opportunity.
But why CRM, specifically? ERPNext, already has a CRM module right? Yeah but, It is basically a collection of doctypes, it's not very user-friendly or should I say agent-friendly, hard to navigate and to know your next move, there are many such challenges. It felt like it needs a separate app.
While there are plenty of CRM solutions out there, including some popular ones like Salesforce, Lead Squared, HubSpot, and Zoho, there are very few open-source CRM options available. And the few that exist aren't yet up to par or are already dead.
