Technical Writer

As a technical writer, you will primarily create educational content in the form of user manuals. You will also create user guides, blogs, newsletters, videos, courses, etc. As a technical writer, you will primarily create educational content in the form of user manuals. What you will be working on

  • You will plan, schedule, and create content for upcoming versions of ERPNext and other products.
  • You will be working with product managers, marketing team, and engineers to produce and maintain world-class documentation, including: User Guides, Developer Guides, Help Articles, FAQs, etc.
  • You should have the expertise to understand and communicate the technical aspects of a digital product to both highly technical and non-technical users.
  • In a way, act as a translator, providing users with the information that will resonate best with them based on their background.
  • Assist in planning, scheduling, and tracking documentation work to meet product release dates and client deliverables.
  • Integrate use case and functional data into user documentation and examples.
  • Gather customer feedback on documentation to improve usability.

What we are looking for

  • Qualification: Any Graduate or Post Graduate
  • SaaS experience is preferred
  • Strong written and verbal communications and experience working with content in multiple mediums
  • Should know JavaScript, Python, Git & Github, HTML, CSS, Jinja, etc
